  • david scott- lead pastor

    David was called to Immanuel as Lead Pastor in April 2022. He has been married to Brooke since 2016, and they have three children: Norah, Madalyn, and Micah. 


    Pastor David has a Bachelor's Degree from Louisiana Tech University, Masters Degrees (MA, MDiv, ThM), and a Doctorate (Ph.D.) from from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. 


    Some of his favorite things in life include: seeing people begin and cultivate their personal relationship with Jesus, spending time with his family, eating a good steak, playing sports (basketball, golf, etc), and investing in disciples of Jesus who make disciples of Jesus.

  • Steve Spurlin- Worship pastor

    Steve was called to Immanuel in August 2023. Throughout the years, Steve has been involved in various capacities of ministry including student ministry and pastoral ministry. Steve has a certificate in Christian Apologetics from Biola University and is pursuing his BA in Christian Ministry with a Minor in Apologetics from Leavell College at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. 


    He has one daughter, Kaylee, and son-in-law Robert. Steve enjoys building Christ-centered relationships, family, worship, discipleship, and too many hobbies. He often explains how the weight and wonder of God's love drive him to try to see others as Christ does. "There's nothing greater than watching that light come on when someone gives themselves to Jesus!"

  • Garrick Griffin- Student Pastor & ICS Athletic Director

    Garrick was called to Immanuel in October 2023. He has been married to Kelsey since 2024, and they have one son, Adoniram.


    Garrick has a heart for disciple-making, being on mission, and reaching the next generation. He has served in various ministry areas, including student and college ministry, as well as missions.


    He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana Tech University. He is also a graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master's in Missiology.


    In his spare time, Garrick enjoys reading, working out, and spending time with people.

  • Brooke scott- iKids Team leader

    Brooke has been part of Immanuel since 2022. She stepped into the role of iKids Team Leader in Summer 2025. She and Pastor David have been married since 2016 and have 3 children (Norah, Madalyn, & Micah).


    Brooke holds a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Education from Louisiana Tech University, a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from American College of Education, and is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy from LSU.


    In addition to serving in our Kids' Ministry, she invests in ladies and serves at THE Louisiana State University (LSU) as an Agriculture Instructor and Undergraduate Advisor. She also loves to read and spend time with her children.

  • Jennifer Dragna - Secretary 

    Jen has been a member of Immanuel since 2006. She has been serving as Secretary since 2017. Married to Matt for 30+ years, they have 2 children (Houston and Grace) along with 4 grandchildren. 


    In addition to being a secretary, she is actively involved in our Missions and Women's Ministry. Check out our Immanuel Women's page to get connected with her and other ladies in our body.
